Framework installed a beautiful skylight that brightens my living space even on a cloudy winter day. When I experienced cold airflow from the skylight, Framework came and installed insulation and identified the problem as coming from the air vents in the attic. The work was well done and I love the results.

In August 2018, we had Frameworks come over and solve a problem (in which two other contractors over the history of the same leak did not fix). This was a leaking, two-story bank of windows in my great room. Frameworks removed six windows, fortified the structure, and water-proofed it to stop the leak, then painted and caulked. The outside of the house post-construction thankfully looks identical to the way it was before construction, with matching siding, trim, paint. Dan’s crew identified problematic issues with our window framing, namely that the structure was under-built and would not be up to current code standards, especially for a south-facing window. They were efficient at re-bidding and completing the additional work, which we decided to proceed with after discovery. His crew is pleasant (A+ for Max, who appeared to be the foreman), polite, conscientious and clean up after themselves, friendly and long-working to get job completed. The communication was daily as was the supervisor-checks of work. They were well prepared for every day and hardly ever took breaks (whereas other workers I’ve had in my home have been gone or breaking large amounts of a day). The best news is we’ve had two soaker-storm nights this winter, and not a drop of moisture in sight! I think this hard-working, well-blended team finally fixed our problem!

I used Framework Contracting to remodel a shower after an undetected leak caused water damage to the floorboards. The job involved removing and replacing the shower pan, removing the shower wall tiles, installing a shower surround, replacing the damaged floorboards and removing and replacing the vinyl flooring. As with many remodeling projects, we found unexpected problems along the way. However, Daniel kept me well informed and offered options to address each problem along the way. The remodeling project was a success and the cost was within the estimated budget.

Framework Contracting worked with me, Dan called me if there was to be a change in schedule. He listened to what I wanted and always had ideas and suggestions for what was possible 😄. His work crews were friendly and fast at what needed to be done. They were mindful that I have dogs and worked around dog potty schedules. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness. I would certainly call them again, actually I have and I would recommend them to friends and family.

We were selling our home and needed to have some interior drywall repaired and some exterior foundation cracks repaired. Dan from Framework Contracting came out very quickly and did a really beautiful job in both areas and was VERY reasonable. We were very happy with the work he did and how quickly he took care of it. Finally, he is a very nice guy. We highly recommend this company.

My cats and I have a catio thanks to Dan and Framework. These guys were just great to work with. They listened, suggested, designed, refined. Then they built the modular pieces in their Albany shop. Result is a creative, useful, affordable, cat-centric outdoor space on my patio -- a catio! This business is very responsive. Thoughtful and respectful. Fun and knowledgeable. I would trust them with any construction or remodel project.

Dan and his team did an amazing job with our commercial sign. He understood exactly what we wanted, completed the work quickly, and even went beyond the minimum requirements that our architectural engineer required to make sure the sign would be secured safely and stay that way. Dan and his team were professional, polite, and prompt. Looking forward to working with them again.
